1997 Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel first responder

Equipped as a water & foam mini pumper, this Ram also carries entry gear, rescue gear,
Hurst tool and extracation gear, backboards, FA equipment, generator, pole lights, and a refrigerator.

This truck was originally a brush truck that kept growing in utility until it is often the first vehicle on the scene.
The crew can have accident victims extracated and boarded by the time an ambulance arrives from the neighboring town.

Elliston FD plans to have another unit built on a 2004 Ram 3500 diesel chassis.
